Doings For The Elderly People -Paragraph
-----------------------------------------
Many people think that elderly persons are useless and burden for the society. But to my mind, it is absolutely a superstition. They can be productive and can play an important sold in massive development of the country if they are given proper opportunities.
But they are deprived of essential opportunities for which they are treated as burden. From the very early years I have a desire to do something beneficial for the elderly persons of my locality.
I, along with some of my friends, have opened an educational institution and a training centre for the elderly persons patronized by the rich people of my locality.
They have vast experiences. The elderly persons getting a proper education and a training related to income generating service can play an important role in eradicating poverty of their own family as well as of the country. Now they are not a burden for their family as well as for the country.

This destruction disturbs our ecological balance. The existance of animals are going to be threatened. Due to deforestation carbon dioxide is increasing worldwide. As a result, the world is becoming warmer. The sea level is rising and many parts of the world is going to be engulfed by the sea in recent future.
On the other hand, new areas of the world are turning into deserts as an immediate effect of deforestation. We may face the problem of flood, soil erosion, drought etc.
We can take many measures to prevent deforestation. Tree plantation programme should be expanded to the remove corner of the country. The government should make TV and radio programme on the subject of afforestation. The common people should be informed of the danger of deforestation.

Anti-Illiteracy Campaign -Paragraph
-----------------------------------
Illiteracy is undoubtedly a curse for a nation. The progress of a nation can't be brought by keeping its people illiterate. The illiteracy is a widespread prevalence of illiteracy. An illiterate farmer does not know how to apply scientific method of cultivation in agriculture to increase production. They have few knowledge of family planning and as a result, population is increasing day by day.
The over population creates hindrance to the development of the country as well as a greater burden on the past of government to fulfill the offer for increasing people. He the people of our country were literate they would have adopted family planning.
To remove illiteracy from the society we have to take necessary steps. We shall have to set up schools in different parts of the country and encourage the parents to send their children to schools. For adult, night schools should be set up where the ignorant s can get necessary mass education to rescue them from the curse of illiteracy.
Anti-illiteracy campaign should be launched to make the common people aware of the necessity of education. As we are students we can take part in the anti-illiteracy campaign and can teach the illiterate people. We can also go to the village during long vacation to make a contribution to remove the illiteracy from the society.

Dowry System-Paragraph
-----------------------------
Dowry is the money or property that is demanded by the bridegroom when he marries a bride. The system of dowry has now become a curse to the society. The torture upon the women by men is a very common sight of today. Sometimes the women become a victim of loss of life as a result of the torture by their husbands. The main reason of dowry is negative attitude of the parents of the bridegroom and the lack of education of the bride. The bridegroom takes dowry and the womenfolk become victims of dowry.
The dowry system affects the whole society. The parents of the bride sell properties and become penniless to fulfil the demand of the bridegroom. Sometimes they cannot keep their word they give before getting their daughters marrying. On the other hand, the bridegroom gets huge property without any efforts. I have the social vice. This social curse can be eliminated by making womenfolk educated and self-dependent. The menfolk also should be given proper education to change their attitude.

They can help one another and share their duties and responsibilities. In spite of some advantages, i do not like extended family. But i always prefer nuclear family.

Globalization -Paragraph
--------------------------------
Globalization is, basically, a process of expanding trade and commerce all over the world by creating a border less market. However, it is creating more opportunities for capitalist countries rather than for the developing ones. In the name of help and co-operation, the industrially developed capitalist countries are exploiting the cheap labor available in poor countries.
This is the common fear about the adverse effects of globalization in the countries like ours. But, the fear is not quite justified because globalization has also a far-reaching effect on many aspects of life. With the development of hi-tech communication media and rapid transportation facilities the world has come closer.
We can share our joys and sorrows like next door neighbors  Globalization also brings all types of different customs and behavior into our homes through satellite television channels and the Internet.
Now, we can enrich our local culture through constant interaction of different cultures. But, along with this, the cultural assault can also be resisted by the strength of our own traditional social values, beliefs and attitudes.
