Fasting -Paragraph

Fasting is the third pillar of islam. It means abstaining from food and drink from dawn till sunset. Muslims are required to fast for the whole month of Ramadan commencing with appearance of the Ramadan moon and ends with the appearance of shawal moon. 
Fasting is primarily a spiritul object where Muslims are taught the greatest lesson of tolerance and trial. It teaches one to conquer his physical desire. 
Fasting has an immense impact on the society. All the Muslims irrespective of their position in the society observe fast.
Fasting brings all the Muslims in the same line and creates in them sentiments of love and brotherhood. It teaches the deveotees to be restraint. 
During Ramadan man is free from all kinds of evil practice and the whole atmosphere is filled with purity. Fasting is oberved only to satisfy Allah and Allah has declared that He Himself will deliver the gift of Fasting to the devotees in the day of judgement.
